After spending 3 weeks in Lantana, Florida to finish all of the last details of renovating our RV we were anxious to begin traveling! So off we went to the middle of the state for a 5 night stay at Sunkissed Village RV Resort in Summerfield.

I gave you a preview of this RV Resort a while back before we had a first hand experience. This 55 and over RV community is just gorgeous and very conveniently located. It’s only 5 miles for The Villages and right next door to a large Camping World that we went to almost every day for something or other.
Staff
The staff is helpful and welcoming, making our stay an absolute pleasure. After a brief tour of the facility we were given lots of information about things to do in the area, including local restaurant. But Steve and I are still cautious about dining out. We only feel comfortable with outdoor seating right now. Plus I had a full, brand new fridge so eating in was just fine with us.

The amenities at Sunkissed Villages include an absolutely gorgeous pool, clubhouse, air conditioned bathhouse and laundry, pickle ball courts, commercial kitchen, dog park, large fire pit with seating just outside of the pool, a Tiki Bar and large entertainment center.

Of course most of the entertainment options were not opened during our visit due to Covid-19, so we will just have to plan a return visit.
If you are planning a trip to The Villages or Ocala in your RV, and you are over 55, this is the most awesome place to stay!!! And if you are looking for a wonderful place to park your RV in the Tampa area, they have a sister site over there called Bay Bayou RV Resort.
