One of the things I love to do at the holidays is look at Christmas light displays. So I was thrilled to be in New Orleans in time for an enchanting drive through City Park’s Celebration in the Oaks. Steve and I took lots of pix while driving the route, all the while grinning like little kids. It was so worthwhile!!!

We are spending Christmas in our happy place, New Orleans, this year. Instead of snow Christmas eve we had non-stop rain. Even though it’s only the three of us, counting Hershi of course, we have lots of stuff planned. Football. Football and more Football. Oh and some yummy food too. I have a whole assortment of delectable nibbles planned for our relaxing holiday weekend.

For our Christmas feast we are having Central Grocery’s Muffaletta. It doesn’t get better than that.
