Steve and I spent 6 glorious weeks visiting with our son and daughter-in-love. That gave us plenty of time to really explore the area. As car lovers we are alway excited to happen upon a car show. And on our first trip to downtown Pickens, SC we stumbled on a really awesome Car Show!

One gorgeous November Saturday Steve and I decided to see what tiny little downtown Pickens had to offer. So we headed to Main Street and lo and behold, practically the entire length of the street was closed to traffic. Instead of traffic there were dozens of bright shiny vehicles on display. Both old and new and everything in between. What they had in common was muscle

This particular car show was Hawks Motorsports Cruise-N for Christmas 2024. This annual event raises money to benefit Country Santa. And adding to the fun of see all of the fabulous muscle cars there were raffle drawings, trophies, food, music and other entertainment by Hot Rods & Happy Hour.

But the real stars of the day were the stunning vehicles! Just a feast for the eyes. Since Steve and I are both Corvette lovers we were especially happy to see so many on display.
