Available Now Tasting Alabama
Have you ever wondered what you’d be cooking if you moved to another state? Or have you moved from the state you grew up in and miss the food from that area? My new book series will solve those problems for you!
First in series of 50!
As many of you already know, I have had this crazy idea to write a series of digital cookbooks since we began our full time RV journey. What’s crazy about my idea, you might ask? The series will consist of 50 books! A book for each state that we have lived in, in our RV, plus Alaska and Hawaii that we visited on vacations. I know it’s a project that will take a few years to complete, but I’m up for the challenge.
When I sat down to write the first book of the series, I decided that I should write them alphabetically. Hence, the first of these eCookbooks is Tasting Alabama ← click the link to purchase. My apologies to those of you who are looking for books from states that start with letters way further down the alphabet. But if I get enough requests, I might be persuaded to get to your state sooner rather than later.
In each book
Each of these books contains lots of useful information that is helpful for cooking recipes from each and every state of this magnificent country of ours. In each edition you will find an extremely comprehensive list of pantry items to have on hand for spur of the moment cooking. Also included are a Glossary of Cooking Terms and an Equipment guide. And most importantly, each book will have links to online merchants that carry items that you might not find in your grocery store, as well as equipment, spices and products for your pantry. The Resources list will most grow as I continue this culinary journey through the United States.
Each book will be jam packed with recipes that use ingredients that are local to that state. I try to share a bit of culinary history from that state, along with the experiences that Steve and I enjoyed while living there in our RV.

All easy recipes
None of the recipes are difficult to recreate. I promise! If I can prepare them in Ladybug’s tiny kitchen with only a 3 burner stove top and Breville Smart Oven Air as my only oven, then you can certainly make each dish in your home. And if your home is on wheels, like mine, you can confidently cook from this book and future books from the series. I even have a page that gives you all of my contact info, just in case you have a question or two.
10% of purchase price donated to charity
And my hope is that y’all will purchase a lot of my books because 10% of the purchase price of each and every book will be donated to No Kid Hungry and World Central Kitchen. Both of these very worthwhile charities are dear to my heart! So please click this link and buy a copy for yourself and perhaps one for a friend or family member.
