Since we have been RVing full time for a little over three years now, I thought you would enjoy this recap in photos. We have taken thousands of amazing photos, therefore I am breaking up my photo journal into three parts beginning with this one: 3 Years RVing, Year 1 Recap!

This tall ship brought settlers to Jamestown from the Old Country.

After a sleepover in Hatteras, we had to evacuate due to an approaching hurricane! The sister campground to where we were staying was in Williamsburg, VA. We got to explore Old Jamestown.

Our first time ever in Virginia Beach was highlighted with lunch at Waterman’s Surfside Grille

While in Maryland we enjoyed great corned beef and pastrami sandwiches at Rosenfeld’s Jewish Deli in Ocean City.

We were enthralled with our visit to NASA’s Virginia Air and Space Museum in Langley VA

One of the coolest RV parks ever is at the Assateague Island National Seashore. It’s known for the wild horses that roam the grounds!

We loved our visit to The Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria VA near Washington DC

History abounds at Mt. Vernon, home to George Washington.

Dinner is served at Mt. Vernon. One of my favorite historic dining rooms!

While near DC, we visited The Mall, including the WWII Memorial

That amazing suspension bridge became a true work of art when lit up at night!

We were excited to be in the Blue Ridge Mountains and visit Blowing Rock NC

Our first time in Jackson MS was certainly highlighted with a visit to the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. This interactive sculpture “This Little Light of Mine” had us mesmerized!!!

Our first time RVing in Texas brought us to Houston and lots to see and do!

Houston we have no problem! How could we be in Houston and not visit the NASA Space Center?

On to San Antonio TX – an fabulously yummy lunch at The Pearl.

And how could we ever forget The Alamo?

We drove all the way from Ft. Stockton TX to Bend National Park. It was a full day but so worth it!!!

We came across these charming relics from the movie Giant in Marfa

We made it through Texas and enjoyed our brief stay in Roswell NM where there are aliens absolutely everywhere, even Albertsons’ Supermarket!

While in New Mexico we visited Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

Our first West Coast sunset in San Diego CA. We officially have gone coast to coast in our gorgeous RV home Ladybug.

A trip to Palm Springs and the best milkshakes that we have ever tasted from Great Shakes.

We hope to return to Joshua Tree National Park next year for more of its captivating vistas

The famous 17 mile drive to Pebble Beach CA was absolutely breathtaking!!! The only other time we drove it was more than 20 years ago. And it was free then.

A day trip to LaLaLand where I was determined to find Bobby Flay’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I FOUND IT!!!

I left my heart in San Francisco and crossed the Golden Gate Bridge on our drive to Santa Rosa in Sonoma County CA.

We were treated to a private winery tour and tasting by the winemaker at Stuhlmuller Vineyard and Winery in Healdsburg CA.

We saw dairy cows galore at farms near the Pacific coast. This one was beautiful and came right up to greet us.

Lots of cows means lots of cheese! We devoured our way through Cowgirl Creamery in Point Reyes CA

Vineyards and farms form a beautiful patchwork quilt across the mountains and valleys in Sonoma County

Heading farther north in California and a visit to Lake Shasta and Mount Shasta National Forest

In Crescent City CA we visited the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park which is part of Redwood National and State Parks
